About the Forum
A Platform for Exchange
The MSF Scientific Day: Humanitarian Health and Practice Forum, Africa 2026 Edition brings together African health institutions, Ministries of Health, researchers, humanitarian organisations and practitioners to share knowledge, experience and ideas to improve health and healthcare in humanitarian settings.
Designed as an exchange platform, the Forum connects those who generate knowledge, those who deliver care in complex, resource-constrained settings, and those who shape health policy and systems — an opportunity to share research and operational experience, discuss challenges and innovations, and explore how evidence can inform humanitarian health practice.
The programme features original research, operational learning, field experience, invited presentations, panel discussions, posters and innovation-focused activities, with an emphasis on dialogue rather than one-way dissemination.
